DioTrans Manual

This manual explains DioTrans in the order you will actually use it: from creating an account to sending files and managing your organization. If you are new, start with the overall flow below.

FlowOverall flow

  1. Create an account

Use “Get Started” on the app’s top page to register your email address and password. A 7-day free trial starts as soon as you sign up.

  2. Agree to the terms

After your first log-in, you will be asked to agree to the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. The content and time of your consent are recorded.

  3. Prepare an organization

Creating an organization lets you invite members and share file transfers. You become the owner and an administrator. You can rename the organization later. If you skip this step, a default organization named “(your name)’s Organization” is created at your first log-in.

  4. Choose storage

Choose where files are stored: your own storage (AWS S3 / Cloudflare R2) or DioTrans R2. Connecting your own storage extends the trial by 21 days.

  5. Send a file

Specify recipients, an expiry, and files. In organizations that require approval, recipients are notified only after an administrator approves the transfer.

  6. Recipients download

Recipients open the link in the notification email, verify their email address with a code, and decrypt the files in their browser.

  7. Subscribe to a paid plan

To keep using DioTrans after the trial, subscribe to a paid plan through Stripe.
